Framework for Sustainability Management
1.Purpose of Setting Up the Sustainability Committee
With the environment surrounding the company undergoing significant change, sustainability is one of the key management issues for increasing corporate value, and the Sustainability Committee has been established from the perspective of further strengthening efforts to both contribute to the realisation of a sustainable society and realise sustainable growth for the company.
2.Roles of the Sustainability Committee
The Sustainability Committee serves as an advisory body for the Board of Directors, discusses policies for addressing key sustainability issues such as the environment, society and governance, and reports back to the Board of Directors.
In addition, a system will be established under the Committee to promote specific studies on these issues and to promote the contribution to the realisation of a sustainable society and the realisation of sustainable growth for the company.
3.Composition of the Sustainability Committee
Representative Director-Member of the Board & President, each Executive Officer (Director) who oversees the environmental and governance divisions, Independent Non-Executive Officers and Directors who are Members of the Audit & Supervisory Committee
