Contribution to Biodiversity

Conserving biodiversity is an important issue as a member of the global ecosystem.
It is OTC's policy to comply with environmental laws and regulations in order to achieve a sustainable society. In addition, OTC contributes to the local community through environmental protection and beautification activities in the areas around our plants, rivers and the sea, together with surrounding companies.

Shoge River Waterway Oil Spill Response Council

The Shoge River flows to the east of the OTC's Head Quarters and the Amagasaki Plant, and the Shoge River Waterway Oil Spill Response Council, in cooperation with surrounding companies, conducts large-scale drills and training sessions every year under the guidance of the relevant authorities to prepare for any environmental accidents that may occur in the river.

Neighbourhood Clean-up Activities

As part of its contribution to the local community, OTC carries out clean-up and beautification activities around its plants.

Environment-related Qualifications

To strengthen environmental management and raise environmental awareness, OTC encourages its employees to obtain qualifications such as pollution control manager and energy manager.
