Environmental Policy
OTC regards environmental protection as one of the most important management issues and promotes initiatives to improve environmental performance in a wide range of areas, from the prevention of environmental pollution to energy conservation and the effective use of resources, based on the following policy.
- 1.Make all employees aware of impacts of OTC's business activities on the environment, and diligently work on environmental conservation activities.
- 2.Set up environmental goals and continue to take corrective actions, such as effective use of energy and waste reduction, to prevent environmental contamination.
- 3.Comply with environment-related laws, municipality ordinances and other regulations and agreements, as well as other requirements, and determine self-regulatory standards to perform environmental management.
- 4.Conduct environmental audit and continue to improve OTC's environmental management system and environmental conservation activities by regularly reviewing them.
- 5.Provide education and training programs to help all employees to understand OTC's basic concept and prevent environmental contamination, and improve their awareness and skills.
Those education and training programs are provided to people of our affiliated companies who are working on our premises. - 6.Contribute to the local communities through OTC' environmental conservation activities.
